Pro-651 Rebanding Question

As I understand it the new Radio Shack Pro-651 is the old Pro-106 manurfactured by whistler under the old GRE specs. My question is this, does a new Pro-651 come upgraded for rebanding right out of the box, or do you have to perform an immediate upgrade to make it compatible for rebanding? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I just ordered the 651 and want to be prepared for what I have to do when I get it, thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

Yes. The 106 did and the 651 will.
