Pro-651 USB Cable the same for Pro-106?

Hopefully this doesn't sound like a stupid question, but is the pro 106 usb programming cable the same as the pro 651 usb cable? Online it seems they are segregated out and are sold differently, but they look the exact same. I have a programming cable for a pro 164 which is supposed to also work with a 106, but it doesn't have the 651 listed.

Anyway the reason i ask i because i was thinking of getting either a 651 or a 106, but i would hate to have to spend ~20 to 30 for a new programming cable.

It the same, it sure work. I used the one I had for my 106 to program the 651 with no issues.

I have a pro-164 also and use that cable for my pro-651 so I know it does in fact work.

I have both those radios and the cable works for both.
