Pro 668 Delay When Picking Up Transmissions

I had this issue with my psr 500 and was able to change a setting to fix it. now i want to do the same with the pro 668. the issue is a second or so delay when a channel becomes active. when channel becomes active my psr 500 and other scanners i have pick up at the exact same time while the 668 is a second or so behind in picking up same transmission on same frequency. how can i adjust this?

Go through your talkgroup lists and delete any channel you have no interest in hearing. Mine did the exact same thing until I went in and deleted like 300 channels I didn't want "scanned". Once I did this, mine has no more delays.

Make sure you only have 1 wildcard if you have any programed for each site

What is a wildcard?

A wildcard will pick up every transmission that is on the site.

If you dont want to hear everything then you put in individual talk groups.

i do recall i had adjusted the band selection to auto on my psr 500 and that solved the delay issue on that radio. i will try this on the pro 668.
