pro 668 software and usb cable driver

I just checked it myself, the link is http://scanner-update.com/pro668/public/PRO668Updater_2.02.exe and the username and password are pro668Public ;oeig(@p06

They work just fine if they are entered properly, make sure while copying and pasting you aren't inadvertently adding a space before or after as this does make a difference.

Got the username and password correct but it says UNDER CONSTRUCTION

On the other site it said FILE DOES NOT EXIST

robnj74 <----- his works ... I think! ( It downloaded an EXE file onto my MacPRO called ..... PRO668Update_2.02.exe

Since I have my original SD cards and they are intact I won't be trying the file but it did download.

I too still have the orginal sd card, but unforuntaly I accidently formatted it when I switched to a 16gig card. So I went scrambling to find a place where I could download both the software and drivers.At first I was able to get the software on My machine, but those pesky drivers, I could not get My op's systems to recongize. Mainly on My windows 8 laptop. But all is good now, and I have plenty of backup. Have a good Week-end....Bob

The drivers provided on the SD card are not " digitally signed ".

Windows 8.1 ( and most likely 8.0 ) do not like unsigned drivers and you have to go through a few steps to all the installation of unsigned drivers.

Well that's Windows 8 for ya!!!

The weekend should be good .... I'm going to a Hamfest in Howard County tomorrow!.

Check post #8. Copy username and password exactly, including semicolon. It has to work, since that is the server the software downloads updates from.

The user name and password in post #8 work for me, but after login the page simply says "Under Construction".

Hello derpotts, I used the site recommened by robnj74 in post #14, it worked for Me. As said enter the credentials just as posted and it should work for You. It would not work on My windows 8.1 machine, but worked on vista and windows 7. Good Luck ! Bob

Hello k2ool, I used the link given by robnj74 in his post #21. Make sure You use the username and password as written in His post. It worked for Me. Both on My vista machine and windows 7 machine. And I think? I have it working in windows 10 also, but need to check that out further. So stay with this thread and look at post robnj74 #21. Good Luck! Also nosoup4u ( nice handel). Hello, I used 3 different post to solve My problem with programming My 668.First there was post #8 on this thread that gives the Credentials, i.e. User and password to be able to download the software that You will need. Second,post #14 by robnj74 will give You the site to find and download the software. Be carefull to enter the credentials exactly as they are written.Now depending on what operating system You are using, I am using Windows 10, You might? Have to find the post that will guide You step by step instructions on how to update Your usb driver. Sorry I could not find the post, but it is in here somewhere?Like I said, I am using both windows 7 and 10. This procedure worked for Me, but You have to follow the instructions exactly. If I can find the post, I will tell You where to find it. Good Luck, I hope this helps, Bob
