Pro-83 Manual Tuning - Question?

Hi,

I just bought a Pro-83 and figured it out about 95%...I had a Pro-95 before.

Anyways, simple question, after not finding this in the manual...

How do I manually enter a single frequency and listen for a transmission without committing to storing the freq to a memory bank first?

Do a SEARCH around the freq. that you are interested in and when some
activity is heard, then press HOLD. Decide later if it is worthwhile keeping
and enter it . You can always program 0 and E (enter) to
zero out that freq and clear it if you change your mind.

BTW, your topic subject line mentions Pro-83, but the text in your message says Pro-93... :? I'm betting you you actually mean Pro -83.

If you mean the -93, hit TUNE, and punch in the frequency, and press PAUSE.
