Its the Pro 83 Scanner, from what I can tell it appears to be a frequency finder. Looks interesting, the fun part is they are going on sale here soon. I can't say what price they will be, but it's going to be VERY cheap. I'll have some here (63rd and Western) within the next few days if anyone wants to stop by and take a look.

Next to a scanner...
It says $119 on that link - really not too bad. I wonder if the signal stalker works as well as a freq. counter.!? All these scanners seem to be gettin cheaper fast - this $119, the 246 like $249....I guess they are finally getting the idea that we don't have limit-less pockets!!

Called the Shack at Reno and MacArthur this afternoon, and they had just received some of the units. I went by after work and checked them out. Very nice looking unit. I think I will wait until the "Introductory" sale price comes out, though.

I'll let you know when it's going to be on sale closer to time. I still am a little confused as to what all it does. From what I can tell it comes pre-programmed with 150 channels, which leaves 50 blank for you to program. Now it has some technology called Signal Stalker which apparently can triangulate a frequency which you specify. As of yet, I have only found it to search a band of frequencies. E.g. 800mhz, UHF, Lo, High, Air, Ect. I'll post more when I find out everything that it can do.
