Pro 83 Programing cable

I have been looking around for ways to make your own programing cable, pro92b gave me this,

but I'm wondering if there are different ones out there. I have looked through google, but can't seem to find anything.

Pro 83 uses Radio Shack SKU # 20-289 the white cable. They are hard to find possible on e-bay. The other is the usb cable it has both ends on the cable.

I know whats available, and that they can be hard to find and a bit pricey at times, but I'm wondering if there are any other resources on making your own, I know u can and I posted up the diagram, I'm just wondering if there is anything else, cause I don't know if I have all the parts to build it like that, but that might be my only choice.
