Pro 83 speaker clipping

Today, I accidentally plugged in my Pro 83 while it was still on. There was a static pop, and now the speaker seems to be clipping at higher volumes. The transmissions are mostly clear, but I'm getting that crackling sound during certain transmissions.

Is this because of the power surge, and what can I do to fix it?
