Bought a Pro-83, compared it along side my PRO-43, the 43 ran circles around it in terms of sensitivity. Took the 83 back to RS the next day.

Keep in mind that the PRO-83 was designed to be a $120 scanner. The PRO-43 was designed to be a (as I recall) $300 scanner.
