Help. I'm a newbe. Just getting started with my pro-84 scanner and this is all new to me. I've been trying to input frequencies that I have found locally in florida but everything comes up with error. I do not have a manual for this scanner. Any idea what I'm doing wrong. I appreciate any help.

You can download the manual at radio shack.com. I presume that you know the 84 is a conventional scanner, not a trunktracker, and the frequencies that you are programming in are conventional VHF and UHF? Nice little receiver the 84. Let us know how it goes
