Well, for some reason, my scanner is adding an extra 16 onto each Talkgroup's ID. Does anyone know how I can fix this or should I just add 16 on to every Talkgroup I program? By the way, there's no status bit option that I can find.

My 92 (Version 1.00) behaves the same. I just hit TRUNK when the ID comes up, with the added 16, and enter them in that way in open mode. Then switch to closed and L/out what TG I don't want...

I do have the PRO-92 Version 1.00 and it adds the 16 at the end of the ID.

Its a problem then with Pro-92s, try it in open mode, just lock out the talkgroups you don't want.

Yes, I know, and as I said my version 1.00 adds 16 too. The fix is the firmware upgrade (3.xx) to the CC decode vs sub audio. It also stops the ID flipping on certain Motorola system, etc...

How do I upload the firmware, via cable or do I have to bring it to Radio Shack?

EDIT: I forgot to include this in the first post, it displays the correct ID with an 800 MHz system.

Unfortunately it can't be done by cable and has to go in to a RS service center, also the cost is around 50.00 being out of warranty. Mostly use my 92 for CTCSS/DPL decode at which it shines and something else for Trunking...

Show an example. I have all three versions and if I understand your statement correctly, do you mean ID 64 changes to 80?

Its probably 64,
How does adding 16 to 64 equal 64?

Example: Talkgroup 32 is detected as 48. I programmed all the talkgroups in with 16 added, it's working fine.
