Is it possible that one of the control channels are locked out? Manually search through all of the channels you have entered for the PR state police and see if any of them are Locked out. Do you have the mode set correctly to MO ?

Hello friend:
I'll check on that and does open or close have anything to do
with my problem??
Thanks

Open mode will scan all the available talk groups, even if you didn't program them. Closed mode will only scan the talk groups you have programmed. So until you get things sorted out, try Open mode.

If PR is a splinter system the 92 will not scan it. I have the same situation with San Diego TRS system. There is an Offset mode on my Pro95 that the 62 does not have. That allows it to scan the city system.

Hello Friends:

Ok!, in the RR data base I have found some frequencies
and talkgroups. But I don't know what info to input in
the Scanner(PRO-92).
For example:

Policia (Police) De Puerto Rico-Carolina Talkgroup []
DEC HEX MODE DESCRIPTION

400 019 A Ops

432 01b A Dispath

464 01d A Ops

What do I need to put in??

Please Help!! ;(

In your example, you need the first digits in each row, the DEC (Decimal) numbers. 400, 432, 464, etc. You don't need the hex or mode information.

Download the Win 92 programming software, it's free here. You just need to buy a programming cable, info is available here.

Moderate protection, but compare the 92 with the 93/95. The 96 is similar to the 95.
