PRO 92 LTR cutting in and out

I just bought a 92 from a friend and when I get and LTR transmission, it receives, cuts out completely, receives and cuts out for equal amounts of time until the transmission stops. any ideas why this happens? I work in healthcare and like to hear the lifelink helos coming in to the hospital. Thanks

Are you sure that you have the frequencies programmed in the correct order? Do you have ALL of the LTR frequencies programmed for the system you are monitoring? While it shouldn't function during LTR, make sure the PRIority function is off. Laslty, make sure your squelch is not set too "loose".

If it cuts out about every 2 seconds, then most likley Priority is turned on.
