I'm new to this pc programing stuff, so what should the setting be? trunking offset? Any pro 92 user advice would be helpful!

Thanks

Next to a scanner...
You'll have to tell us what you're trying to program. What do you want to listen to? If you want to listen to the state Motorola trunked system or anything conventional, you shouldn't need any of that base of offset stuff... that's only for VHF or UHF trunked systems.

I guess you are interested in the Tulsa site of the OK DPS SmartZone. Program all 30 freqs as Mot and set the bank to Mot also. A few digital and encrypted ID's are listed in the RRDatabase and will be annoying if scanning OPEN Mode. To avoid this annoyance, program up to 100 TG's of interest and scan CLOSED Mode

BTW, Sapulpa may be stretch to scan the Tulsa towers...do you hear a strong Control Channel noise?

I can send you a Win92 file that has pretty much all the Tulsa area TRS, inc. Broken Arrow, Sand Springs, Bixby, Glenpool, etc. It was sent to me several years ago, and may need some updating of the talkgroups, but it's pretty comprehensive. I used it to craft my own scanner setup by picking and choosing from it what I wanted to hear. I can also send you what I ended up with in my 2067, which is basically the TPG, TCSO, EM, TFD, OHP Trp B, and the RMA and SMA talkgroups plus a few others of interest. This is a little newer and more up to date. Perhaps looking at these will help you understand how to setup the 92/2067 for trunking.

PM me with your email address and I'll fire them off to you.

Sometimes I can hear Tulsa from my location, just depends, my quess on the weather and location of my 2066 in the house at the time. Mostly my aim is the Bristow towers. Creek Co., Sapulpa, uses them also. I scan conventional for Kville, FD's County, Ems, It gets kinda confusing Sapulpa uses both conv. and trunking. So does Creek co. The sheriff said that the state is going to put up more towers in creek co. We will just wait and see!
I take my 2066 to Tulsa and trunk on the road open mode, and hit scan and just a few that I have picked then. TPD too busy sometimes.I think this pro 92 will solve a lot of my problem with Sapulpa area. I would like to know what id's Creek co. and Sapulpa use to talk to each other?

Thanks
