Pro-92 search ranges

Hi everyone , first post here, and I have to say this site is unreal! So much info. ! I have had my Pro-92B for 4 years, and have never been able to find this answer, so if it has been discussed before I apologize. On page 23 of the owners manual, they talk about the program for the 92 that allows up to 100 search ranges. Now I realize there are 60 or so in it now-----but I am curious what were/are the other 40 ranges, anybody ever find this program and use it? The manual is not very good in explaining the ranges that are in it , when I first got the scanner I more or less stumbled upon them! I tried for a year or two to find the program at the local radio shacks,---but nobody ever carried it. It is really more of a "would just like to know type of question". Again this is a great site, thanks for any help. Mike

Thanks for the help, so I assume the program in the manual is Mr. Starrs? The other 40 ranges are then user defined right? Mike

I don't believe Radio Shack recommended Win92 in the manual but it is the best program for the PRO-92. All 100 search ranges can be edited using the program.

That helps a lot, thanks for your help! I downloaded win92, I have read about it for years, just never downloaded it. Now I have to get a cable-----it has to be much easier than manually entering everything! Thanks again , Mike
