Pro 92 / Win92 Connection Problems

I am trying to connect a pro 92 I just acquired to my laptop(s), and neither one will see the scanner plugged into the computer. I have tryed turning off readback tests, which worked for my Pro 93, but so far hasnt on this one, any other suggestions? I am using WinXP pro and WinXP Home, a Dell and an HP laptop.

Are you using a com port with the 20-289 Scanner/PC Interface Cable, a USB adapter, or the 20-047 USB Scanner Programming Cable?

I am Using a cable I bought off ebay, I BELIEVE its the Blackbag cable.

You're not using the Verify Scanner option are you?
