HI,
I have a pro-82 and when I put in a frequncy like 154.1675 put it in the scanner puts it in as 154.165 Mhz. But I want 154.1675. Is there any way I can override this?

Your heading is PRO92, your post is PRO82, if its a PRO92 it will work the way it is rounded off...The PRO92 scanner does not do the new 7.5 splits ex: 151.1825....If you use the PL or DCS in the rounded off freqy you will be fine....

Regardless if it is a 92 or 82, both will round off the last numeral to a 5, or, 0. No, you can't override it. It is in the radios firmware. The scanner will still receive the signal and you will hear what is being transmitted. Even if it is 2.5Khz off in the original frequency.

About not using a PL/DCS with the new split freqys, for ex: 154.7475, a FD freqy here in my area, without a PL i can hear another station on 155.74, and 155.76 covering up my 154.7475 with out using a PL/DCS on the split freqy.....Thanks to the FCC the new 7.5 splits are much too close together and in some instances override each other....
