Pro-93 Question

Hi I have a question about my pro-93 that i haven't used in ahwile. Well when i turn it on the low battery thing stays on and beeps while it is plugged into a dc adapter with no batterys in it. I don't know what is wrong with it or what to do to get that to go away? Anyone have any advice?

Try putting batteries in it, then use the DC adapter. I know that sort of defeats the point of using an adapter, but at least if that turns out to be the problem, you know what's wrong.
