First, you may want to turn the cap lock off. Second, you seem to be frustrated with the 94. I used to be frustrated with a similar radio--Pro-90. Third, you haven't stated what you want to monitor--county, city systems. Another place you may wish to post is in the Washington state forum. There may actually be someone close to you to help.

Hi

Thanks for the response. I like to listen to the police local. Fire ect. Exciting stuff. I wonder if radioshack has a new bok out on the channels they use now. Maybe even to cell phone convo's! That would be great! I'm harmless. Disabled in a chair, i have nothing to do but sit and listen and watch. Thanks again appreciate your time.

Jack RS stopped selling Police Call some time ago; however there are much better resources available. The first would be our own database (just click on the link - anything in blue and/or underlined)

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?stid=53

And ScannerStuff has been selling their own reference manual for awhile now. The nice thing here is that you can subscribe for updates to the book for free...

http://www.scanseattle.com/

And there are a few mailing lists that cover Washington state - I'l leave it up to the Washingtonians to say whether they're worthwhile, and whether the book above is similarly worthwhile to have....
