Pro-95 All keys not working and all CH locked out

I just picked up what looks like a brand new Pro-95 but nothing works, not even the wx. None of the buttons work and after the welcome screen it says all channels locked out.

I can't figure it out, I read most posts about locked out channels but none of the keys function. Did a reset and also tried to hold down 0 then 1 as the welcome screen comes on.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried "FUNC > LIGHT" to see if the keypad has been locked?

Unfortunately none of the keys do anything, I tried Func > Light as you suggested but nothing. The lcd screen shows bank 0 and all others are ....., then is says "all channels Locked out!" below the bank indicators. I have the manual but none of their info worked.

I've tried everything I know about plus the couple ideas you all provided, anything else that I am missing? Other than throwing it at the wall to see if that shakes something, it is DEAD.

All your channels were erased or have been locked out, generally its that there are no frequencies/talkgroups in the radio now. Time to reload.

None of the keys function at all and can't do anything with it. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Do you have the free program from Starrsoft WIN 95, if so read from scanner and see what shows, if you don't have WIN 95 get it it is free.

No I don't have it but will download it to my Windows 7 and use my cable from my Pro-651 as they should be the same.

Pro-95 Working

After downloading Win95, I uploaded what was in scanner which was nothing. Created a test bank and uploaded to the scanner and it started to scan. I don't know exactly what happened but I'm past that finally. BTW, my lower keys don't seem to work, from the 8,9,0 to the light, search, etc don't seem to work, perhaps time to open it up and take a look.
