NONE!

Go to Walmart and check out the camera section. I got 4 2200MAh NIMH AA cells plus a one hour charger for less than $20. They run my PRO96 for 10 hours + on each 1 hour charge.

The ones I got at Sam's Club (owned by the same people as Wal*Mart) were Eveready Energizer 2200 mAH NiMHs.

I don't think Radio Shack has anything close to that capacity.

They have 2300 mAH AA Energizers now. I saw them at Target.

If I remeber right, Wal-Mart and Sams had 2200 mAH but back when I
bought mine 2 years ago the highest capacity was 2100 mAH.

Any of them should work great. I would suggest getting the Energizer
charger because the built in charger in the PRO-95 doesn't put out that
much current and it takes a lot longer to charge.

with apologies....

i use everready 2300 mah nimh in both my 92 and 96.... i alternate the batts between the two radios--when the 92 i take two batteries from the the eight battery rotation (two four packs cost much less than a four pack and a two pack), charge the six battereis in the one hour chargers and then usually, without a lot of use the 92 lasts about two hours a day all week.... the 96 works all day--ten to twelve hours off the charger using the internal charger on the 96 to keep the batteries topped-off.... i guess when these wear out i will move on to 2500.... pretty soon i will be able to use them in my car!

I had GREAT luck with a battery website. I think it was all-battery.com, but I may be wrong. I learned when I was young (MANY YEARS AGO), that treating your batteries correctly is extremely important. A cellphone battery can cost more than the cellphone! I'm DK/JK, and I approved of this message.
