PRO 95 antenna's?

Is there an antenna that I can buy to replace the stock one on my PRO 95 that will improve reception in VHF and 800mhz band?

I've seen 800mhz antennas that look similar to the stock antenna, as well as telescoping antennas. Are these any better than the stock one?

I have the 800mhz antenna from RadioShack on a pro-94, my friend also has the same antenna on a pro-95 and we both think it is excellent.

It also seems to do well on non-800mhz also.

noise

hi is their any filter that i can get to help get rid of a lot of noise on my uniden bc898xlt i also have a santenna antenna new and still can't get rid of noise in the back ground and while they are talking . thanks pam alex_mhp21@yahoo.com:roll:

Could be too much antenna if you are in a high RF area. You must also have PL/DPL tone on all freqs possible. This locks/closes the squelch. If there is an ATT button then use it to cut down on extra strong signals.
