I'm sure this is going to sound like a really dumb question. But, I just can't seem to find any answer in the manual.
I just purchased a PRO-95, and while I don't have any trouble programing our local trunked freqs. into it, and getting it to scan, and receiving all the talk groups, I cannot find the way to go from one talk group to another without running the scanner in the open mode and then locking the talk group when the one I want comes up. If I run the scanner in the closed mode, it sits on the talk group that I use the most, but I don't know how to switch to the other talk group that I use when I need to monitor that one.
Sales people at our local RS are completely without any knowledge, whatsoever.
Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated...........

Welcome to Radio Reference!

You're referring to selecting a talkgroup and holding on it before it becomes active, correct?

The reason it isn't in the manual is because you can't do it. The workaround is to put the talkgroup (or talkgroups) in their own list and scan that trunked system in the closed mode.

There is a workaround for the PRO-96 and PRO-97, but I don't know if it works on the PRO-95 or not, as I don't own one I can't try it out.

The PRO-96 and 97 workaround is: press "program" then "trunk", then use the up or down arrow keys to scroll to the talkgroup you want, then press "function" then "trunk" and it will hold on that talkgroup.

The workaround does not work on the 95. You can temporarlly lockout the TG you dont want to hear, or put them in seperate subgroups, and lock the subgroup.
