What is the powersave feature on the pro 95 and how do you use it?

The battery saver only works when sitting on a conventional channel in manual mode. There is no way to turn this feature on & off, but if you use
program instead of manual it is disabled.

The way it works is the recever is turned off to save power and turned on for
about .25 second every 1 second. If a signal opens the squelch then the receiver stays on for about 5 seconds.
