The reason that I ask is because the black cable comes with a CD-ROM but its not compatible with Windows XP and as another poster mentioned, won't work with the Pro-95.
Thanks ahead of time for any info.

Or a Part number?
I have the US. Radio Shack part # 20-048 but that part # doesn't work here in Ontario ... not the radio shacks I called anyway ....
Thanks

The Win95 software at Don Starr's site does not contain frequencies. It is just used for you to enter the frequencies that you want in your radio. Now as to the source of your frequenies; before you do that, I suggest you click the link at the top of the this page that says RR Database. Once you get there, click on your state, then your county and see what we have here for you to use. That is what we are here for.alger said:I received a PRO-95 as a gift. New to scanning. I see the benefits of buying a cable and using the computer. Does the software suggested to download work with XP? Does it contain frequencies or do I still need to purchase a book. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
