Need some help.

Can I program 2 trunking groups into 1 bank? I realize that EDACS needs to start on the 2nd channel in the bank.

I programmed Lakewood, CO (EDACS) into a bank, then programmed Wheat Ridge (MOT II) into the same bank. When I try to put ID's into the Wheat Ridge system it brings me to the Lakewood channels. I don't know if the Wheat Ridge channels will work because I don't live close enough to recieve them at home.

any answers/help would be appreciated.

I just got a 95 yesterday, and will also have MANY questions. Radio Shack didn't have the cable. I don't have the port in my PC, so I need to go to a USB cable. I'm only trying Wheatridge & convential for now. I'm starting to figure it out. It is SO MUCH different than a Uniden (pro94)! I have lots of things I want to compare with the two, ie 900MHz reception. So far it seems to recieve Wheatridge better than the 94 from my house in Denver. I think I'll do all the programming by hand, and spend the $30 or $40 on NiMH batteries, and a bottle of Grey Goose.....lol.

Jerry, it took me some time to figure out this trunking stuff.
Buy rechargable batteries (use your yellow battery pack). I use the 2300mah (?) rated ones. They work fine, and depending on how much "action" is going on, they'll last for 24-48hrs before they need recharging.

I have 3 sets of rechargeable MiMH (2000 mAh) batteries, but now I have four scanners. Time to shut down for the night. Take care, and maybe we can compare notes this weekend.

Rechargable batt's are the way to go. The yellow battery holder is for recharging in the radio. You can use either battery holder for just holding the batteries. A lot of people use external battery chargers as they have the proper circuitry for helping the batteries last longer, which the radio does not. And to make sure that you never charge in your radio, you can just pack the yellow holder away for a rainy day. :)
