Hi, I am using win95 to program my Pro-95 and I am a bit confused when it comes to the fleet settings. Here is what the Truncking for Dayton, Ohio looks like:
City of Dayton
System Frequencies:

856.2125 856.4625 856.7125 856.9625 857.2125
857.4625 857.7125 857.9625 858.2125 858.4625
858.7125 858.9625 859.2125 859.4625 859.7125
859.9625 860.2125 860.4625 860.7125 860.9625

Fleet Map (Usr):
Motorola Hybrid Type IIi
B0=S7 B1=S4 B2=S4 B3=S11 B4=S0 B5=S0 B6=S12 B7=n/a

I have entered all the freqs in using win95 and when i get to the fleet settings win95 has no S0 settings in its block 4&5 (B4 - B5) what should these be set at? and also what does B7 need to be set at since it says n/a?

For now I have left the fleet settings in win95 @ default of type-II, the scanner seems to pick the channels, but I think since there are fleet map settings they should be entered.

If anyone can help me it would be a great help, as I am fairly new to this trunking and slowly but surely learning. Also if anyone has any good win95 files for the Dayton Ohio and surronding area I would sure like to try them out.

Thanks Again - scanmanpro95

Easy one first. The B12 in block 6 takes up TWO blocks, so by programming block 6 as B12, you're programming both block 6 and block 7 at the same time.

That said, the City of Dayton is a Type II system, so no fleetmap is needed (all S0, B0, not programmed, Etc). Where did you get the fleetmap info?

If found a a few from different web sites, some have had those fleet maps with them, and some just had the freqs.listed w/them and no fleets. Not sure if the ones with fleets were older and now the fleets are not needed maybe? If they were needed(hypetheticaly) how would I enter the b4=s0 and b5=s0 info? is "s0"= to "s10" in Win95? And is the RR database pretty upto date?

Thanks for your help

Use the pulldown for each and select Type II.
Use this RR source for Dayton all ID's are Type II.

BTW, the 95 will work with CC's (red) only.
