Just got the pro 95 for x-mas. I heard its not digital. How do i know if my area is digital. I live in Southern California in San Bernadino county. Also is the pro 96 worth the exta money.

Looks like you got what you need. The Pro96 is worth the money if you need digital, but looks like San Bernandino is analog.

CDF5112: go to http://radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&ctid=218 for the freq listings for san bernadino county.... it doesn't appear that you need digital capablity... the pro 95 would work for you it seems.... go to http://starrsoft.com/freeware/win95/default.asp and download the latest version of win 95 for your new toy... follow the links about a third of the way down for cables.... if you need digital capablity the pro 96 is worth the money.... even if not for the digital because of the v-scanners you can store up to 5500 freqs in the thing....
