I have a question rearding the ability of the Pro-96 to monitor the Macon Police APCO-25 digital system. ScanAtlanta says that it is a 3600 baud system. Does this mean that the Pro-96 can't trunk track the system? Also, if the Pro-96 can't follow, can the 396T? I realize this may be a better question in the RS and Uniden forums but thought you guys migh know. I am considering a Pro-96 since they are on sale and the Macon system is the closest digital system I could attempt to monitor.

The PRO96 will track both 9600 and 3600 systems. The 396T will also track this as well as a BC796D, BC296D and PRO2096.

Thanks for the reply, I misinterpreted someone in another post talking about the program PRO96COM and the fact that the Pro-96 will not put out data from a 3600 baud digital system for the program to use.

Right here...
Macon / Bibb County

On a side note, I caught the system on trunker on my last trip to Florida, is the other site/sites on line yet? The one site came in very clear out on the south side just past the 75/475 interchange.

Sites.......

I simply program all the Moto frequencies, mix in the talkgroups, and away I go.

The Macon-Bibb system appears to be a Smart-Net.

The city of Macon Police are 3600-baud digital P-25. Some of their TAC are analog.

Bibb Co Sheriff, Macon-Bibb Fire, and EMS dispatch are analog.

Take care,
Julian
