pro 96 and NON - 16 talkgroups...

with apologies, as im sure that this question (as are all my questions) has been asked and answered.

when i owned a 94... i was able to program NON - 16 numerical talkgroups. i.e. 57395 (old AACo bravo patch, 57392 + 3)
is there a way to do this on the 96? and if so, how? and will the 96 pick up transmissions on NON - 16 talkgroups?

If you want to receive that + 3 id, then be sure your status bit is on

The radio is usually shipped pre-set to ON.

I don't think anyone has to justify asking a question here,everyone asks
questions, and there are a lot of people willing to help.

The status bit is ignored on the Pro-96, and there's no way to set it "on" so you cannot program non-16 talkgroups (well you can but it won't work.)
