PRO-96 and STARS

Does anyone have the correct table inputs for the WIN 96 software to make the STARS system work in the Radio Shack PRO-96? I need the correct Base Freqs/Offsets/Steps. I have downloaded the data from RR but it does not seem to work. I'm in Williamsburg, so there is a possibility the "control channel" is not operational. I also have a Uniden BCD-396T that appears to pick up STARS. However, it is sporatic in the channels. This leads me to believe the system is not fully activiated for this area. The control channel sounds active on 152.0675...but no data is present Any help would be appreciated.

The tables do not download because the database page is not set to import Extended tables at this time. Load this attached p96 which has the system with Extend tables set in bank 9.

You can use Win96 "Bank Copy" under the Edit Menu to copy the info from this file to your working p96.

Edit: 152.0675 is generally the active CC for the Williamsburg. The tower is located off the NW corner of Camp Peary next to the interstate between exits 234 and 238.

Yes, I receive it here in NE Suffolk. You should be able to pick up the Petersburg tower also from Williamsburg.

Frank someone was asking for a p97 file for Virginia in the Yahoo p97 · File Sharing Group
So I downloaded your p96 file and exported it as CSV and made him up a p97 file out of it. I did delete bank 9 the Star's one though because I didn't think it would be worth him trying to make it work there anyhow.

I gave you credit for the file on the start up screen.

Great Randy, reaching across the border works very well in these forms. You're correct, bank 9 in that file will be nothing but pain in the 97.
