I have programmed my Pro96 with the Win96 software. I copied a *.p96 file into the scanner, and I can't figure out how to lock out groups of channels within a bank. Near the 'alpha tag' table, there is a column of 5 radio buttons with a check box beside each one to either turn that group of channels on or off in the scanner. I only have one group turn 'on', but when I upload to the scanner, other groups are turned on, and I don't know how to use the scanner key pad to do anything.

Thanks for your help.

DO YOU HAVE THE BANK IN QUESTION closed?

go back to win 96... in the same bank and look at the row of boxes starting with "BANK", then you should see "TAG" then a box next to "CLOSED" put a check in that box and you shouldn't hear any talk groups you don't want...

I don't want to close the entire bank, but in Win96, the Trunk Info box has check boxes next to it to turn on or off groups of tg's.

Keep scanning bank in closed mode [-]. Put a check beside the selection of 5 ID banks you want on. No check-no can hear.

Those won't work when in OPEN mode. You have to lock out the TGs. That's the box to the right of the TG.
