Pro-96 Help Please

I have a Pro-96 and live in Chesterfield, Virginia. I have downloaded Win-96 and signed up here to download all the frequency's for my area. Everything downloaded fine. When I try to scan I see the scanner stop on frequency's but I get no sound. When I bring my scanner to work which is in Fredericksburg, VA everything works fine. Someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance.
