Little help, I live in Lincoln,RI Ive been hearing all of my digital channels just fine, but in lincoln it's still analog. till weeks ago i was hearing it with no static, now i barely hear it with more static then before. Could it have anything to do with switching wide to narrow.....

Probably not. What causes "sudden static" are one of three items, typically.
1)You are not receiving a weaker signal , but rather a new interference laden one. Did you recently get something new? Live in an apartment building?
2)Something has failed in your scanner. Have you tried with another scanner?
3)With the transition, the licensee relocated the transmitter to a different location, which doesn't work out as well for you.
