I finally figured out the ARC 96 software and have got VIPER channels programmed in for Onslow and Pender Counties in NC. Since I personally have been a beneficiary of the AIR LINK Medivac services, I like to monitor their traffic. One of the AIRLINK guys told me that in Onslow county they broadcast on the NC State Highway Patrol Viper frequencies so I programmed those in and I get their back & forth with their dispatch OPS
MY Question: Can you manually enter a Talkgroup ID without messing up the other downloaded ones. Transmissions between Landing Zone EMS and the Bird are on Event 5. Looking at the RR list of Jacksonville/Onslow County System Talkgroups it shows 19 Events. Do I just enter the DEC 60176 into my talk group list manually or is there something else I need to do to pick up those transmissions that are more detailed.
