Is there any Pro-96 mods I can do without using win96?

1) Look several forums down and you will see we have a Radio Shack/GRE forum for threads like this...please post in the correct forum from here on out...thanks!
2) Your thread from yesterday (THIS ONE) is where you should have continued this line of questioning...no need to post multiple threads on the same topic...just creates additional forum clutter...
3) and to answer your question no there are no other mods for the Pro96...only other thing you can do is a discriminator tap which allows decoding of trunked system information or audio increase mod...that is it, nothing else....

by using WIN96 you can open up extended frequencies. this permits you to receive frequencies beyond the ones shown by radio shack. before you ask, it does not open up the cellphone range as that is blocked by the hardware.
