pro 96 or 164

i have a choice of either buying a pro 96 or 164 scanner.which model would be better to purchase?

My vote would be the Pro-96- it receives digital signals while the 164 does not.

Both are older radios. The PRO-96 does decode digital and so that does make it a better scanner if the prices are similar.
