PRO-96 Scan Mode

I have a PRO-96. When I am in scan mode and find a 800-900 frequency,
I try to hear a conversation by pushing manual, it wont let me - then I have also tryed to put a delay in there also and it wont let me. Can someone guide me please?

Also arent all 800-900 freq. suppose to be put in - in order?

I can't answer the first part of your question but with MOTOROLA systems, you only need to enter the control channels into the bank to be able to receive it. With EDACS, the answer is YES, they need to be in order. Always start with channel 1 in a bank when programming these freqs. (Ex. 001 101 201 301 401 501 etc)

I think he's trying to stop on the tg's that come up and to hold on them you just hold thge trunk button for 1 sec and the message hold will appear and you can listen then to resume you just hit the trunk button again.

Oh yeah. I read the question wrong. On the PRO-96 you go to your list of trunking talkgroups and select the talkgroup that you want to hold on and press FUNC+TRUNK (I think...). Also, in scan mode, just hold trunk for 2 seconds. See your manual's trunking section.

Others - I don't read any trunking involved at all.

Terrie. Do you mean you are in search mode? If so, use the PAUSE button not the manual button.

Terrie, in case you were trying to hold on a Talk group (although I think Joe hit the nail on the head) press <PAUSE> instead of holding the <TRUNK> button for 1 second. Both do the same thing, but <PAUSE> is instant.
