I'm a little frustrated here. Lol
I just picked up a pro-96 on EBay. I've added all the control channels for the Montreal fire, set it all to Motorola, made sure it's set to open by pressing function 5 and I haven't heard a thing all day. If anyone could guide this n00b in the right direction or if you are in Montreal, I will pay you to get it working.
Thanks

Hello

Trying to help from South Florida here. Looks like your Pro96 should receive them. (I've had my 96 for over 5 years and really enjoy it.) However.......I see in a note on Broadcastify that a NEW system was to be started in 12/14. Database has not been updated since 8/2013. Maybe new system not compatable with the 96? I sure you'll receive an answer from someone local.

Thanks Ermin,
I'm pretty sure it does pick it up but I think I may have to do it with software and see if I can add options. I added the frequencies manually and no luck but maybe it needs the rebanding or whatever to get it to work. I had a pro-106 that worked perfect until I tried to adjust the epoxy screw inside for the running and destroyed the coil. Lol

I have a PRO-96 and listen to the SSIM APCO25 frequencies.

You need to put the control channel in the first memory channel of a band and make sure your band is correctly set for APCO25 (MOT).

However, if you try to listen to the new EDACS frequencies that are used by SSIM, this won't work well with the PRO-96 because the frequencies are out of range.
