Pro-96 software program

Im new to the scanner world these days but trying to catch back-up a little and wanting to see if someone can give me any advice on a software program for my pro-96 scanner? I purchased the cable and i have everything but a program.Are they any good free programs that i can use to program my scanner or are they all just for purchase?Any help would be great at this point.

I've not found any free software, so I use Win96 (Free trial for 30 days) and it was/is worth every penny when you register. Sent a quick question to the author and had a same day response.

Ok,i tried to use the 30 day trial but it ask me for a key or to register and i dont know how to get the 30 day trial?What do you put in for the trial?

Im getting a error message when i try to install the program.It says ok,key.register and than when i hit ok it says error something .dll and says that i might not have the right version?Can someone tell me how i can fix this so i can try it?
