Hi all,
I own a pro-96 and have noticed that the squelch does not work like it does in my pro-92 as far as setting it once and forgetting about it.IE: When i'm listening to local police "Tucson,Az" I can hear the conversation but when it changes freq's, the squelch seems like it is either to sensitive or has to be re adjusted so I dont hear the white noise.Also have any of you other pro-96 fans notice how the volume of the radio is so hard to set IE: listening to it at a low volume so it doesnt bother anyone. It seems the sensitivity of the volume is extremely touchy and it's either loud or low, no median unless you fiddle around with it.Any ideas? Can win96 or scancat lite help fix that?
