Pro-96 stuck

Ok there is probably a post here already for this problem but I couldn't find it. My 96 is stuck on one frequency in search mode. It won't go back to scan( and yes it has been programmed) it won't do anything but turn off or turn on. When I turn it on it still stuck on that one frequency in search. No buttons work not even the light button.

Have you attempted to Reset using a paperclip in little hole on side of scanner? This will not erase any memory.

Or

Initalize by pressing 0 on bootup then 1 then ENT

This will erase working memory only.

Seems like what I came here to look up- a stuck key. In my case, the "0" key is stuck down ("pressed") so no other keystrokes take. I am going to start a separate topic to identify this more clearly...
