I'm not sure if the Pro-96 has this feature or not. I've looked through my manual and can't find anything about it. I know the BC250D would be able to search a group of trunked frequencies and the talkgroup ID would come up when it stopped on a transmission and you could quickly enter the ID into a talkgroup bank. Does the Pro-96 support this feature?

Thanks

I take it you mean *ID SEARCH* with the 250. It's called *SCAN OPEN* with with GRE scanners. Pressing TRUNK when an ID appears will *quickly* store the ID, but line 4 will indicate *ID was saved* if previously stored in the same scanner bank. Notch up on Uniden, which sits and blinks waiting for you to do something--except or RSM.

Alright, thanks for the info. I'm about to try this now. I'm not really into saving the IDs while searching. I just wanted to see if I could pick up any of the frequencies in my area through the new digital system here which my city seems to be having endless troubles with according to the postings on the site here. It's alot less hassle the programming all the frequencies in and then not having anything come through.
