Pro-96 & UHF/VHF P25 Systems / Tables required??

While trying to figure out why a true P25 system 'requires' Base and Offset values, someone replied:

My question is Radio Shack/GRE aware of this P25 bug and are there any plans to address it in an upcoming 'firmware' release?

The information about this issue has been out there for awhile. Unfortunately we haven't heard anything from GRE about any fixes for it. You can build tables that will work for most systems, as long as there aren't more than 6 on a system.

What does 'out there' mean? I'm spoiled by having the Uniden Product manager actively post on the Uniden boards. People say the GRE folks 'lurk', but who knows.

Just curious is someone has sent a letter direct to GRE to let them know.
