pro 96 update

i have a pro 96 . i have tried to get the update on the Rs website . i downloaded the update and it was that i was completed . i also have win96 and that works fine . but when i turn the scanner on its says F1.0 . it should say 1.3 right ? i did it twice and both time it says the scanner was updated . i baught it on ebay and so far everything is working fine . but i am going to Atlantic City tomm and to make sure the all the bugs in the scanner are fixed thanks

The actual firmware will stay at 1.0 unless you send it to the factory. Just after you turn the radio on, press the #3 and it will show you the current software version in the radio. For example, mine shows:

CPU: F1.1
DSP-APP: U1.2
DSP-VOC: F1.0

The 'U' in the DSP-APP field shows that it's been user upgraded. F is for factory.
