Pro-96 vs Pro-97 Analog

Hi,

I've been waiting for the pro-96 to come down in price so I can make my move and buy my first digital trunking scanner. I heard a Pro-97 in the store once scanning I think NJSP and the audio sounded pretty good. Is the Pro-96 the same in this area?

I live in NE Somerset county and know there is some digital but not much. Maybe I should just get the Pro-97?

pro 96 if your area hasnt rebanded yet it will soon, and the pro 97 is not rebanding friendly, but a 96 is so you will be ready for digital when it comes and rebanded systems...
