PRO-96 With Analog Trunked Systems

Has the PRO-96 do a good job tracking Analog systems for any of you. When I listen to one I always get more interfearence with the system than with the PRO-95 like in downtown areas and by industrial areas. I mainly hear a humming noise in the backround that even makes the signal break up even if I am 3 miles from the nearest tower.

My home system as well as 4 other Mot and one ED public safety are 100% analog. I don't experience your problem that I know of, but will pay attention while traveling through these areas next time. I don't have a Pro95 anymore but recall it and the 96 were about the same for these analog systems. All can be monitored from my home. I also have one mixed mode Mot public safety system and three Mil digital Mot 400 systems, which can be monitored from my home, hence the Pro 96 and BC785D.

I havn't experianced problems like that-could be it's just IF from those areas you mentioned-especially the industrial ares.

What kind of interference are you getting?
