What is the most current version of this radio that would NOT need upgrades. Plus how do you get the version to come up on the screen.
I was looking @ one yesterday but could NOT figure out how to get the version to show up on the LCD screen.

Just hit the #3 button when the radio coming on and the cpu version is the one on top. 1.3 is the most current update.

Would this version need updgrades or is everything updated on the 1.3?

1.3 is the most current update.

If the screen looks like this:

  Version
CPU:    F1.3
DSP-APP:F1.2
DSP-Voc:F1.0

Then you have all the most up-to-date firmware in the radio.
