I have purchased a pro-96 because my local PD switched to a new Motorola Digital system. When I punch their frequency in, I am only getting one side of the conversations. I only hear the cars not the dispatch desk. Any reason why this is happening?

What system are you trying to program?

If this is the system, it looks like it's new and no one has id'd the CC and alts yet.

You would be better off asking about this system in the New Jersey Forum, where someone whould have more information on it. I don't have any 400 mhz P25 systems where I'm at so I don't know how to set them up for the PRO96.

ok, thanks
Rutherford, NJ shows 453.825 conventional with P25 voice in the database. If you put in 458.825, you would only hear the cars and not dispatch. Try putting in 453.825 as RX mode FM, and see what you get, they may not be on the trunked system yet.

ok, my friend has a uniden scanner and that appears to be working fine. I put in the 453.825 on the fm mode and I am not getting anything. If I switch to the 458.825, I am getting the cars.

yeah, the frequency is identical and I have the mode set to +FM, but it doesn't appear to work. I will keep in trying. Thanks.
