pro 97 -- all channels locked out?

when i turn on my pro 97, it displays all channels locked out?? can anyone help me undo this?

I'm guessing that you just bought it and have not programmed it yet. If thats the case then you need to program something in it first.

Oh yeah, WIN97 is a computer program to make it easy on you to program your scanner from your PC rather than punching it in on the scanner its self.
